Applications
Planetary ball mills are smaller than common ball mills and widely used in academic and research institutions and corporate research laboratories for grinding sample material down to very small sizes(~0.1 micron). They can be used for mixing, homogenizing, fine grinding, mechanical alloying, cell disruption, small volume high-tech material production and even for colloidal grinding. They are the ideal wet/dry milling tools for preparing research samples with high efficiency and low noise. Vacuum jars may be used to process samples within a vacuum environment.
